SAL and CD Forum Present Black Futures

Join our friends at Seattle Arts & Lectures (SAL) and Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas (CD Forum) for Black Futures with Kimberly Drew & Jenna Wortham. Drew and Wortham will be in conversation with one of the contributors, King Britt, for an online, pre-recorded event on Wed, Dec. 2, 2020, at 7:30 PM (PST). What does it mean to be Black and alive right now? Kimberly Drew and Jenna Wortham have brought together a new collection of work—images, photos, essays, memes, dialogues, recipes, tweets, poetry, and more—in Black Futures, which tells the story of the radical, imaginative, provocative, and gorgeous world that Black creators are bringing forth today. All tickets, except Student/25 & Under and the Digital Pass/No Book ticket levels, include a copy of Black Futures, which will be shipped in partnership with the partner bookstore for the evening, Estelita’s Library .
