My Closet
by Amelia (age 14)All my life I've lived in a closet
A big dark hole of depression
Barely allowed to share my feelings
But when I get a chance
I'm smacked around
I feel so guilty
If I didn't feel this way
I wouldn't hurt anyone
So I stay in my closet
Way back in the back
I put on a smile
So nobody knows what goes through my head
Dedicated to my best friend S.
