French Cooking Class (Benefit for Pongo)

Sylvie Nogaki was trained in Paris at Le Cordon Bleu. Her catering enterprise, Sylvie Cooks, is offering a French cooking class on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at St. Clement's Episcopal Church, 1501 32nd Ave. S., Seattle 98144, in the Mount Baker neighborhood. Cost is $50 for the general public, $45 for church members. All proceeds benefit Pongo Teen Writing. Checks should be sent to the church and made payable to "St. Clement's Youth at Risk Fund."
