Where I Come From
by Seb
I'm from a street where the lights are on, but no one sees.
I'm from faith in the needle, to mask the pain.
I'm from a long line of people who don't give a @#$%.
I'm from confusion about mankind.
I'm from laughter over spilt milk.
I come from somewhere, but nowhere.
I'm from them, and I know that because they look like me.
I'm from fear, because it was placed in my eyes.
I come from a long line of abuse.
I come from here, but now I'm out there.
I come from drugs and lies and deceit.
And I wish my life would become what?
That's where I'd like to come from. Anywhere? But here.
