You Don't Know Me

by a young woman

You see that I cry
You see that I am always angry
But you don’t know me

You would know me if …

You knew how hard it was to hold back the tears that are always falling down my face 2 by 2
You knew how I feel sometimes that no one cares
You knew how i felt when those kids did those things to me

You see that I have held all that in for all those years
You see that I i did a good job not to let it show
But you don’t know me

You would know me if …

You knew how I tried to show you the clues
You knew how I hated boys
You knew how I cried and cried every night
