The Days I Miss

by a young man, age 17

I miss the days when me and my family
Were a happy family
I miss the days when me and my family
Used to go to Seafair
Watch the Blue Angels
I miss the days when me and my family
Spent time in the living room
Watching t.v.
I miss the days when me and my family
Used to argue because I knew they still cared
And now we don’t argue
We just have meaningless conversations
Or sometimes just awkward talks
Because we don’t know how to talk to each other
