Pilondial Cyst

by a young man, age 16

I’m pretty content with everything.
My room is a disaster most of the time,
And I like disorder.
My friends are idiots
Who are insanely sporadic
In their attention and goals,
And I like their unpredictability.
My family is dysfunctional.
Nothing seems to work out.
Our plans don’t happen.
My sister acts maniacal.
The six-year-old is overly inquisitive,
Almost to a violent level,
And I like it.
I don’t know why,
But it’s home.
